Open to all full-time HKU undergraduates and postgraduates with preference given to China Studies majors and minors, and students who have taken or are currently taking China Studies courses.
Language: Activities and lectures organized by the mainland host institution will be conducted in Putonghua
Trip Highlights:
Visits to Heilongjiang Provincial Museum, Harbin Motor Factory, Russian-Chinese Overseas Memorial Museum, Aigun Historical Antiquities Museum
Introduction to the natural environment and agricultural production of Northeast China
Day trips to villages around Harbin for in-depth exposure to folk religion and ethnic minority culture
Lectures and conversations with Heilongjiang University and Heihe University faculty and students
Expenses: Accommodation, meals, and local transport will be provided. Students will be responsible for any incidental or personal expenses. Airfare will be subsidized.
